About

Hello.

I am a painter. I make collages.

I work in Watercolor, Gouache, Acrylic, and Oil paint.

Materials and resources I use include and are not limited to: Arches watercolor paper, wood plaques, glitter, puffy  paint, hot glue, sequins, canvas, linen, Sculpey, National Geographic Magazine (1934 – present), crayons, rubber stamps, the world wide web, any soft dog, and coloring books.

I received my BA in Art History with a concentration in Painting from Princeton University.

I am extremely lucky to have worked with many talented and brilliant artists, teachers, writers, and thinkers.

Originally from Culver City, within the greater Los Angeles area, in the last five years I have been on the move, hustling and balancing art, work, and life. During my travels, I lived and worked in San Francisco, CA and Nashville, Tennessee. In 2010 I returned to Los Angeles and I am very happy to be home.

While continuing my own body of work*, I paint privately commissioned projects. On this site you will find samples of both work for me (narrative paintings and portfolio series), and work for others (Portraiture, commissions, and design projects).  If you are interested in knowing more about me, my process, or my art please drop me a note on the contact page.

Thank you for visiting.
